Tabs
From the Outside
by Bert Jansch
Album: From the Outside
Standard tuning. No capo. 4/4 time.
This tab is one run through the main piece.
The recording then repeats from Bar 7 with
variations then Bert plays the whole again
with some more variations. These variations
are only slight and should be relatively
easy to figure out.
The brackets above Bar 6 enclose the quiet
little bit that Bert plays. It is not essential
to the piece but I thought you might want to
know it. (I am not entirely sure of its accuracy
as it is a little too quiet to tell, but it is
just about right.)
The bend in Bar 7 is difficult but I am convinced
this is correct.
As regards playing it, I pick some of it closer
to the bridge to get that sharper sound.
h = hammer-on p = pull-off
b = bend note
