boyfriend is being talked about in this song is the same way, and that's causing
the troubles.

To help you recognize this tuning, it's really just E MajorE A augmentedA D MajorD A augmentedA A majorA E MajorE (where you
tune the G-string up to an A augmentedA and the B-string down to that same A augmentedA), and then
drop all the strings a half step. I think it'd be called a "G#sus4-tuning".
