This is the version of Ballroom Blitz that was played in Waynes World.
Its pretty similar to the versions by Sweet or Krokus, but they seem to be played in E while this is in G.
There is also a recurring riff in this version that is not in the other versions of the song.

Interlude:
There are some wonky guitar noises in this part.  Sounds like harmonics lightly whammied
I do not know what they are.   I recommend just playing a solo ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
