New Slang - The Shins

Tuning: EADGBe (Standard)
Album: Oh, Inverted World
No real complete version of this tab exists, (i.e. containing all fill-ins, solos,
chord progressions / lyrics, etc.). This tab is intended to be universal, with all
aspects of the song combined into one document; and was tabbed independently by
myself years ago, now with slight revisions to coincide with website regulations.
TABLATURE NOTES:
🎸
Accuracy Rating: - Votes: -
(1) Any note progressions of the form: ### (e.g.: 555) are 16th notes, and are
played via tremolo picking on the corresponding string. This notation is to
avoid confusion with 8th notes, due to the song's rather rapid tempo.
(2) The notation "|---3---|" located above notes within bars is used to indicate
triplets. The | | symbols indicate where the triplets begin and end, respectively.
(3) The general rhythm (not time signature, mind you) changes very frequently in
the song, especially during the chord progressions on the solos. Be mindful of
when to come in for chord changes.
