To Webmaster: The tick marks above the measures should be even, but they appear messed up
in this window. There should be four per measure, above the measure. If this doesn't
look right let me know.

A Good Rain

Dan Seals

The song is in G# on the recording, and I've provided guidance to play it in that key,
but there is a descending bassline when he sings "and says 'hoooooold oooooon we've seen
tougher times'" that works better when the song is played in Cmaj.

I love this song and I was surprised no one had even put the chords up for it. I guess
they're simple enough. Hope you enjoy it.

I play it in C major as below for a continuous bassline and no
barred A-shape chords. I'll show my picking pattern for each chord and
then the bassline thing in C. The rest should fall into place.

B|--------------1---------------1---|
G|----------0---------------0-------|

G|----------0---------------0-------|----------0---------------0-------|
D|------2---------------2-----------|------2---------------2-----------|
A|--3---------------2---------------|--0-------------------------------|
E|----------------------------------|------------------3---------------|

    | | | | | | | |
    F G

D|------3-----------------------3---|------0------------------------0--|

E|--1---------------1---------------|--3---------------3---------------|

The interlude is the same pattern, VI, IV, I, V, so now it's Am, F, C, G

Make up your own picking patterns, vary it as you go along. I could tab
out what I do but it's nothing fantastic. Have fun!
