The riff names coorespond to the chord names of a twelve bar blues in A. Since
each riff is two measures long the progression looks like this:

| A riff | A riff | D riff | A riff | E riff | A riff |

The verse tab also follow the chords of a twelve bar blues like this.

That covers the two types of progressions for the verse and chorus. You should
be able to figure out when each is played by the way they sound.

Led Zeppelin tabs for Rock n roll

About Rock N Roll

"Rock and Roll" was released on the famous forth album by Led Zeppelin and on single the following year. The song, as seen in the Led Zeppelin Rock and Roll guitar tabs below, was the opener for all shows between 1972 and 1975. It later ended up as the encore on shows.

The song came to the band when working in the studio. They had some problems with another song and instead started to jam. It took only fifteen minutes from the drummer started a roll to the whole song was ready. Because of this it is one of only a few songs where the whole band shares the composer credit. Check out the Led Zeppelin Rock and roll guitar tabs below for the full song. Ian Stewart from The Rolling Stones is a guest pianist on the song.
