CARAVAN by Japanese musician, composer and multi-instrumentalist KITAR? (MASANORI TAKAHASHI). KITAR?
is a multi-Grammy awardee and won one for Best New Age Album for his 1999 set THINKING OF YOU.
Also he won the Golden Globe for Best Original Score for the 1993 movie HEAVEN & EARTH.
Originally the song appeared as an instrumental (titled CARAVANSARY) in his 1983 album
SILK ROAD IV - TEN JIKU (SILK ROAD TEN-JIKU in Japan) which was produced by TAKA NANRI
who also co-produced DAVID FOSTER's debut album THE BEST OF ME in 1983 for his SOUND DESIGN RECORDS.
In 1984, a vocal version titled CARAVAN was released credited to KITARO WITH PAGES.
PAGES is no other than MR. MISTER lead vocalist RICHARD PAGE.
