Disconnected chords by Keane

Guitar chords with lyrics

Here's the brilliant brand new single from Keane! Based on this live version:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9UE_i9Rxmkw
Yes, apparently Keane do also use guitars! :)

----

The guitar plays a plain D on the intro and chorus, but you can play the
following chord sequence (strumming 4 times each) for an acoustic
version more similar to the piano riff: D Dsus2 Dmaj7 D

The chord at the end of the verse (D*) sounds like a Bm on the piano,
but in the video he plays a D on the guitar.

D Em Bm
Something's crept in under our door, silence soaking through the floor
(D) Em Bm
Pinching like a stone in my shoe, some chemical is breaking down the glue
Em D*
That's been binding me to you

D Em7
Oh, I feel like I just don't know you anymore
F#m D
I've been burnt and I've been wrong so many times

We walk in circles, the blind leading the blind, we've been disconnected somehow
                     Em7
There's an invisible wall between us now
F#m D
I've been burnt and I've been wrong so many times

We walk in circles, the blind leading the blind

(D) Em
Well I thought that love watched over this house
                                   Bm
But you're boarding up the windows now
      (D) Em Bm
We're leaning on each other so hard, tied so tight we wound up miles apart
Em D*
Making simple things so hard

Oh, I feel like I just don't know you anymore
I've been burnt and I've been down so many times
We walk in circles, the blind leading the blind, we've been disconnected somehow
There's an invisible wall between us now
I've been wrong and I've been down so many times
We walk in circles, the blind leading the blind
