White Rabbit Ukulele chords by Jefferson Airplane

Guitar chords with lyrics

  • Capo on 2nd
Tuning: G C E A (G C E A)

Difficulty: Intermediate

White Rabbit

The key of G is used so that the opening instrumental solo works out, ending on the open G.
It sounds better if you have a low G string.
G is a half step above the original, so no capo use is practical, but you could tune down 1/2 step.

Verse:

G Ab
One pill makes you larger and one pill makes you small
        G Ab
And the ones that Mother gives you don't do anything at all
       Bb Db Eb Bb
Go ask Alice when she's ten feet tall

Verse:

       G Ab
And if you go chasing rabbits and you know you're going to fall
           G Ab
Tell 'em a hookah-smoking caterpillar has given you the call
     Bb Db Eb Bb
Call Alice when she was just small

Bridge:

F Bb
When men on the chessboard get up and tell you where to go
           F Bb
And you've just had some kind of mushroom and your mind is moving low

Verse:

       G
Go ask Alice; I think she'll know
                               Ab
When logic and proportion have fallen sloppy dead
        G Ab
And the White Knight is talking backwards and the Red Queen's off with her head
  Bb Db Eb Bb
Remember, what the dormouse said:

Outro:

 F Bb F Bb
"Feed your head! Feed your head!"
