Here's a change from Richard B, in D major :
I think the chords are basically just A major, G and D.
The verse being played with the first finger for the A chord and fingers
three and four (mainly 3) being added as appropriate, G and D chords used
in the middle and at the end of each line.
e:---|---|---|---|---|
B:---|-1-|---|---|---|
G:---|-1-|---|---|---|
D:---|-1-|---|(3)|(4)|
A:---|---|---|---|---|
E:---|---|---|---|---|
The chorus being G, D and A.

59 Yards (Boo Hewerdine)
------------------------
This is on Boo Hewerdine's second album, Ignorance. It's played in Ab
(capo at 1), live and on the album. All the following is written as
though played in G (at the nut), so if you're playing with a capo at the
first fret, remember to play all the TAB sections one fret higher than
written here.

Strumming in the verse is generally fast strumming of the bass strings,
quickly damped with the palm of the right hand (there's probably one of
those cute little italian words to describe this), except the D C at the
end of each line which is the full chord. Have a listen to the album.
Bend notation :
x(y) fretted at x, pre-bent upto y, pick and hold

x(y) fretted at x, pick and bend one half-step upto y

/
X fretted at X, pick and bend up half a half-step (one quarter step?)
\
x(y)x fretted at x, pre-bent (to y), pick and release bend back down to x
h is a hammer on
p is a pull-off
Here's the break written out in the key of Ab (i.e. this is exactly what
you play if you're using a capo at the first fret).
