it is close enough and each bar should count 4 beats.

Regarding learning to play this, I'd say take the same
approach to any of Davy's pieces: just throw yourself
into it! I see him as quite a rough genius, with
incredible skill and versatility, not to mention
knowledge of so many different styles, and yet often
playing with a seemingly carefree attitude. I find that
I have to throw my hands around the guitar if I want to
keep up with his speed and improvs (even on slower tracks!). Anyway....
