Guitar chords with lyrics
Tuning: D standard (Or Standard) (OR Drop-D, but I wont tab that. Too much effort for something you can deduce yourself) First off, I realized that this may require a little more effort than the average person wants to give, but realize that this took me well over 2 hours to tab. I encourage others to post specialized versions of this tab, ie. for "Guitar", "Chords" or "Bass", as I would if I had the time. I made this as a highly versatile tab. I wrote it where you can figure it out in Standard (not bass) and D-Standard Tunings (Drop-D for Bass also) Anyway, The notes over the lyrics are the exact notes, NOT notes relative to tuning/capoes. If I were to do that, the tab would become incomprehensible) Finally, the runs (Like the one after "times we should've spent) are for the bass, and I wrote what to do in the guitar chords ^.^' P.S. if you read the tab, it'll sound a bit redundant, because most people will hurry to the lyric part and give this tab a single star because they're confused and scared.

ENJOY! If this is played on Bass (D-Standard (Because it's either recorded like that or in Drop-D (And if you want to play in in drop D, Ignore everything after the "OR"; They're the transposed notes for D-Standard))), the notes are: D# - 1st fret, top string F - 3rd fret, top string Gm - 5th fret, top string OR open, 2nd string A - 7th fret, top string OR 2nd fret, 2nd string A# - 8th fret, top string OR 3rd fret, 2nd string If playing acoustic guitar, or those types of chords, it's (Un-capo'ed, still D Standard): F G Ab Ab) C Still Acoustic, Standard, Capo-3: C D Em Em) G Electric (Rhythm guitar, at least) D Standard () = Optional, I Would'nt play at places like the begining D# D| - A| - F| - C|(3) G| 3 D| 1 F D| - A| - F| - C|(5) G| 5 D| 3 Gm D| - - A| - - F| - (2) C|(7) 2 G| 7 0 D| 5 - A (But I think you'll just play a Gm when you see this in a run) D- - A- - F- (4) C(9) 4 G9 2 D7 - A# D| - - A| - - F| - (5) C|(10) 5 G| 10 3 D| 8 - THE ACTUAL TAB: Gm And this is my last remaining filter D# On my last remaining words. F It's leaving the taste of something bitter on my tongue. Gm I'm leaving a ladder full of reasons D# Along with a line that starts to blur F Into a page that says you faded away too young. Gm 'Cause you're leaving something short of innocent. A F I'm still thinking of the times we should've spent. A Gm It's as if this form of treason crawled up deep inside your head. F [hold] And left you notes on how to keep your insides dead. [holding] D# If I had any other heart, F If any other piece spoke louder. D# If I had any other hands, A# I wouldn't need the boys F To tell the world about the coward that re- A# Fuses to stand, F And claim no blood on your hands. F If I had any other heart beside my own, We might've left you cold. F F [Strumming pattern for second verse] (* = where the bass continues to play the strumming pattern, but the guitars play the more straight-forward one) (o = play - = dont play) [1+2+3+4+1+2+3+4+] [ooo--ooo-------] Gm I'm handed a book about instructions D# On when I should know to go. A# And tracing my fingers down the binding, F I get cold. Gm* 'Cause I've been this awful shade of D#* Lonely since your reasons left the room. A#* And I'd see everything get warmer F* If you decide to follow suit Gm If I could paint the town with all your good intent. A# F I'd leave these walls as red as my eyes could've been. A# Gm While picking comfort for my father for a place to rest his head. F [hold] But Tallahassee will stay grey outside instead. [holding] D# If I had any other heart, F If any other piece spoke louder. D# If I had any other hands, A# I wouldn't need the boys F To tell the world about the coward that re- A# Fuses to stand, F And claim no blood on your hands. A A If I had any other heart, if I had any other heart beside my own A# If I were king of the world Gm And I could build you a day F [hold] And smile just to rip it all away. I want to place a memory in your head That screams about regret. F D# If I had any other heart, F If any other piece spoke louder. A# If I had any other hands, F If I had any other hands. F F F Oh God, if I had any other heart. F Woah if I had any other hands. A# And you're still refusing to stand. F And claim the blood on your hands. F If I had any other heart. Gm
