Plan To Be Surprised tab by Basement

Guitar Tab

Basement.
I Wish I Could Stay Here.

Currently my favourite band.
Album of the year 2011 will very possibly go to these guys... their only
contenders so far are Touche Amore with 'Parting the Sea...' and possibly Daylight
when their debut album comes out... We'll see how it goes. But, these guys are my
favourite for consistancy. I've been hooked since their demo. I still think 'I'm
Not Paying £10 For Car Lube' is their best song. I plan to see these guys in the
next year. Woop woop. But, what do you care? You're just looking for the tab. Sigh.
Be sure you check out my other two tabs for these guys: Skip Town and 1104 Porter
Street, and the tab for White Elephant is good too. =)

Album version, not the demo version. If that matters to you...
HALF STEP DOWN TUNING. Youl will have to use your brain for some of this osng, I
haven't gone into much detail.

"All the lights are out, in your house"
figure the pattern to this yourself too:
----------------------------------|
----------------------------------|
----------------------------------|
--5----2----9----7----------------|
--5----2----9----7----------------|
--3----0----7----5----------------|

---------------------------------|
---------------------------------|
------------4--------------------|
--5----2----4--------------------|
--5----2----2--------------------|
--3----0-------------------------|

----------------------------------|
----------------------------------|
----------------------------------|
--5----2----9----7----------------|
--5----2----9----7----------------|
--3----0----7----5----------------|

----------------------------------|
----------------------------------|
------------4---------------------|
--5----2----4---------------7-----|
--5----2----2---------------7-----|
--3----0--------------------5-----|

use what I've put below to work out an ambient
kinda sound between 1:10 and 1:40

if you're that punk that you can't play anything
except power chords strum these for the rest of the song:
------------------------------------|
------------------------------------|
------------------------------------|
--5---------------2-----------------|
--5---------------2-----------------|
--3---------------0-----------------|

otherwise:
--------15-14---------------15-14------|
-----15------------------15------------|
--12-----------16-----12-----------16--|
---------------------------------------|
---------------------------------------|
---------------------------------------|

-------10-----------------10------------|
----10----12-----------10----12---------|
--9------------------9-----------12/14--|
----------------------------------------|
