Tim Commerford plays 4 string bass guitars all tuned differently. Some in E-A-D-G, D-G-C-F, Drop D, I saw him in concert playing this song on a bass tuned in B-E-A-D. In this part what I like to do is: 1. Hold the note (5) through the whole bar counting 4 beats. Halfway through the 4th beat, slide it up to the 12th fret. 2. Hit high E (12th fret of the E string) at the start of the 1/4 bar. c.
