// Walk through

The lead part before the solo is a variation on
how it's played throughout the song. A couple
differences are playing the 7th fret D (on the
G string) before the usual first note (the 6th
fret), as well as playing the 12th fret A at the
end before sliding down in prep for melting faces.

e|---------------------------------|-----------------------------|
B|----------/14------------/14-----|-----------------------------|
G|-/7-6-------------6--------------|--2-----/14------------------|
D|---------------------------------|-----------------------------|
A|---------------------------------|---------------12\-----------|
E|---------------------------------|-----------------------------|

Here we go! Slide up into the 9th fret on the G
string before plucking it again, hammering on
the 11th and then playing the 10th fret of the
B string and letting that ring for a bit.

e|-----------------------------------------|
B|------------10~--------------------------|
G|--/9~--9h11------------------------------|
D|-----------------------------------------|
A|-----------------------------------------|
E|-----------------------------------------|

Then pick UP on the high E string with your first
finger on the 12th fret. This lets you pre-bend
the B string on the 12th fret (B) up a whole step
to C# before releasing it back down and then
picking the rest.

e|--12----------------------------|
B|----b14r(12)-10-12----10--------|
G|-------------------11-----------|
D|--------------------------------|
A|--------------------------------|
E|--------------------------------|

That last lick goes into this line that has
some smooth legato bits. Note the parentheses
around the (9) means you don't pluck that note.

e|-----------------------------------------|
B|-----------------------------------------|
G|--11-9------9----------------------------|
D|-------9h11---11\(9)-7-------------------|
A|-----------------------9-7---------------|
E|-----------------------------------------|

These next notes are technically part of the same
run, but I think it's helpful to separate stepping
up from the running down when learning it. Again,
note the (11) in parentheses meaning you shouldn't
pluck it.

e|-----------------------------------------|
B|-----------------------------------------|
G|--------------------------------------9--|
D|-----------------------------7-9/(11)----|
A|---------------------------9-------------|
E|-----------------------------------------|

Neat little arpeggio here. I find that I upstroke
on that first 10th fret D (on the high E string).

e|--10-9-----------------------|
B|-------10--------------------|
G|----------9------------------|
D|-----------------------------|
A|-----------------------------|
E|-----------------------------|

Okay so this time I put it all together. The downs and the ups.
I think which notes are picked and which are legato is key to
getting the feel right here. Not 100% sure this is how she played it,
but here's how I do it. (Naturally, you're not picking notes that
come after an 'h' or a 'p')

e|--12-12h14p12--------------------------------------------|
B|-------------12h14p12-10h12-10-----------------------10--|
G|-------------------------------9h11p9------9----9h11-----|
D|--------------------------------------9h11---11----------|
A|---------------------------------------------------------|
E|---------------------------------------------------------|

Reach up here for the big bend! To play the (19rb19) bit,
after bending up the whole step (19) release it a bit (r) and then
push it back up there (b19). The 'r(17)' that follows is meant
to be a slower release back to normal before picking that note again.
The final notes are the lead in to the last run before the ending.

e|------------------------------------14-----|
B|--17b(19rb19)--r(17)-17~------14h17----17--|
G|-------------------------------------------|
D|-------------------------------------------|
A|-------------------------------------------|
E|-------------------------------------------|

And then here's the big run for the end. Once you
get the pattern down it should be pretty straightforward.
Not exactly sure what she plays at the very end, but
I do hear a Db before ending on the B. So to hit that
I linger a bit on those 14th and 16th D-string-frets before
grabbing those last two notes for the finish.

e|--17p14---14------------------------|
B|-------17---17p14-17p14---14--------|
G|-----------------------16---16p14---|
D|------------------------------------|
A|------------------------------------|
E|------------------------------------|

e|------------------------------------------|
B|------------------------------------------|
G|--16p14---14------------------------------|
D|-------16----16p14-16p14-14-16p14----14\--|
A|----------------------------------16------|
E|------------------------------------------|

And that's it!
Happy rocking.
