Over The Hills And Far Away tab

This was already an old song when released on their «Houses of the holy» album in 1973. Jimmi Page and Robert Plant wrote to together three years earlier. The song has some interesting guitar section as you can see in the Led Zeppelin «Over the hills and far away» guitar tabs below.

It starts with a basic melody played on a six-string acoustic guitar. This theme is then repeated on a 12-string. Jimmi Page once said in an interview that it starts with an acoustic and then it is edited to be an electric. You should consider this when you play these Led Zeppelin «Over the hills and far away» guitar tabs. The song was often played live and Jimmi Page then often did a long solo in the song making it over eleven minutes in lenght.
