Guitar chords with lyrics

Author/Artist: Mandawuy Yunupingu
Title: Dust On The Shells
Album: -
Transcribed by: Tony Crouch

I transcribed this song from a live version i have on AV tape,
To my knowledge there's only 2 versions one which was done
with Neil Finn (Ex-Split Enz and Crowded House) at a
reconciliation concert and the one this transcriptions is taken
from which was performed with Mick Moriaty (Backing Vocals
and Guitar) and the late Andy Lewis (Ex-Gadflys and The Whitlams)
(Backing vocals and Bass)

The Intro for this song is simply a Em chord Vamp for a few bars.

The First part is done twice then you move onto the other progression.

Then You go back to the Verse Progression, which again is in his native
speech,

Then Move onto the interlude

Du Du Du Du.....

The Above 10 bars of tab, is the interlude progression,
Mick really accents this with his fingers to get a real stabbing effect,
Sounds very cool.

then you move onto the Verse again (Which is suprising done in english)

Then you do the chorus again,
Then after you've finished it, move onto the part transcribed below,
Then your finished.

It's interesting to note that in the chorus you've just played during
the Bm Chord,
there's heaps of chords thrown in that don't work, on the video you can
see Mick,
getting abit frustrated with himself as he shakes his head and has abit
of a chuckle.

Like The Lights in the city tonight.

Then the song goes back to a Em Vamp,

That should be it.
See ya soon.
