Accuracy Rating: - Votes: -
D* - Alternate D chord used, for the first verse at least pick the strings in order of A D G

C* - Sounds like it should be a G by where his singing pitch is but sounds like a C chord played with it.
try adding a G bass note with the C chord. 3rd fret bottom E switching 3rd and 4th fingers.

G4 - Just to save clutter I marked this for the Gsus4 chord throughout the song.

Gsus4 (G4) G (Verse) D* C Cmaj7 Am

Alternative for Cmaj7*. I can't find any proper name for the chord but it drops the note C to B an octave
lower (bass note) with the addition of opening the D string. Both work fine in my opinion.

VERSE 1

C G4 G G4 G
Are you still out there?

              G4 G D* C
Are you still out there?

         G4 G G4 G

Can you hear me?

        G4 G D* C
Can you hear me?

    G4 G G4 G

                           Am
There's nothing wrong with being a dreamer,
