The strumming patterns are a little odd and the time signature change might throw you
off, count like this:

1-2-3-4,1-2-3-4,1-2-3-4,1-2

You can other just do normal strumming or you can try to copy the mandolin's more
organic pattern. Listen to the actual track to get it.
