------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Weekend - SZA ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tuning: Standard Chords: Emaj7: x7655x D#7: x6564x B/D#: x6444x G#m7: 4x444x F#m6: 2x122x After you let the F#m6 ring for two bars, play just the open B string and let that ring for two bars. If you don't see what I'm talking about, listen to the song carefully. It happens at 0:53, for example. Should look like this:

Accuracy Rating: - Votes: -
e|-------------| B|-2-------0---| G|-2-----------| D|-1-----------| A|-------------| E|-2-----------| Also, I added a G#m7 into the chord progression. It goes in seamlessly with the bassline. If I didn't add it, there would be an awkward pause for about six bars. It is strategically placed, as it fits in with the chord progression and is the chord that is missing in that gap in the song, anyways. Play it along with the track, and you will see what I mean. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Verse 1: Emaj7 You say you got a girl D#7 How you want me? How you want me when you got a girl? B/D# Emaj7 The feelin' is wreckless Of knowin' it's selfish G#m Knowin' I'm desperate Gettin' all in your love F#m6 Fallin' all over love, like Emaj7 Do it to last, last D#7 Hanging out the back, all up in your lap B/D# Emaj7 Like is you comin' home? Is you out with her? G#m7 I don't care long as you're here by ten thirty F#m6 No later than, drop them drawers Emaj7 Give me what I want Chorus: My man is my man is your man D#7 Heard it's her man too B/D# Emaj7 My man is my man is your man Heard that's her man G#m7 Tuesday and Wednesday, Thursday and Friday F#m6 Emaj7 I just keep him satisfied through the weekend D#7 You're like 9 to 5, I'm the weekend B/D# Emaj7 Make him lose his mind every weekend You take Wednesday, Thursday G#m7 Then just send him my way F#m6 Emaj7 Think I got it covered for the weekend Verse 2: D#7 I gotta say I'm in the mood for a little bit more of that B/D# Emaj7 I mean I'm saying what kind of deal is two days?
