Choruses ("They're dancing around...")
Bm7Bm7 E minor 7Em7 F#m7F#m7 E minor 7Em7

Instrumental break between 2nd and final chorus
C-5add9(?) Bm7Bm7
C-5add9 Bm7Bm7 Bb majorBb
Don't know if I have the correct chord names, but here's what I mean:
Emin9/B [x2x032]
Gmaj7Gmaj7 [3x0032]
A13A13 [x04030]
C-5add9 [x30032]
The idea is to stay anchored on the D MajorD form while changing bass notes. I think Gauvin does this often ("Here's Where the Story Ends"), and its a common enough trick for guitarists (Lennon's "Dear Prudence.")
