VERSE:
D Am G
Remember the time we were both eye to eye
    Bm D
And we both knew the reasons why
        Em G
Seemed like we faced the world on our own

D Am G
Before we collide can we just take a moment
  Bm D
Collecting reflections of this
    Em G
And remember the paths that we chose

CHORUS:
Bm
Spring lied to us this year again
C
Can`t stand to face the fear again
G D C
You could always laugh about those things

Bm
It`s enough to make a man feel sour
C
Burning minutes every day by the hour
G D C
Just to end up gone like everything else

  D Am G Bm D Em G

VERSE:
D Am G
Let go of the pain, hold onto the rhythm
   Bm D
It`s consciously held back in you
          Em G
You`re drowning a sorrow that`s long been at rest

D Am G
The past is a hell, it can creep up inside you
  Bm D
So let me remind you of this
      Em G
There`s a reason your troubles exist

CHORUS:
 Bm
Spring lied to us again this year
 C
Still I can`t stand to face the fear
 G D C
Will you always laugh about those things

Bm
It`s enough to make a man stay humble
C
Everyday is just a new chance to stumble
G D C C
Just to end up gone like everything else

INSTRUMENTAL:
D Am G Bm

VERSE:
D Am G
If ever a time comes around in the wheel
    Bm D
To replace where we stand side by side
     Em G
We`ll be ready and able to fly

D Am
 Away from the mire
     G Bm D
And the senseless decisions of somebody`s wasted desire
       Em G
Through the smoke and the wind and the fire

CHORUS:
 Bm
Spring lied to us this year again
 C
Can`t stand to face the fear again
 G D C
You could always laugh about those things

Bm
It`s enough to make a man feel sour
C
Burning minutes every day by the hour
G D C
Just to end up gone like everything else

INSTRUMENTAL: (2 minutes 30 seconds long)

Em D

NOTE:
At this point Billy Strings is basically picking notes
and soloing and not really playing chords.

However to me the simplest way to get through this part
is to alternate between the Em and D chord.

Since there are just too many chord changes at this point
and no markers to identify where the changes occur to place
these chords you would have to listen for when those changes
are made. I personally alternated between the Em and D chords
11 times.

Play this right before entering with the VERSE:

  D Am G Bm D Em G
E -----------|----------|----------|---------------|-------|
B -----------|----------|----------|---------------|-------|

A -5---------|----------|----------|-9--9-7-9-10-7-|-7-9-5-|
E -----------|----------|----------|---------------|-------|

VERSE:
D Am G

    Bm D
