Track: The One
Artist: SOiL
Tabbed by: Jason Parker
Tunning: Drop D (low to high-DADGBE)
a simple song, with nothing too tricky that should pose anyone difficulty. please
note, i have not give the rhythm or timing, listen for the song for that. nor are
the number of chord hits correct, they just show you what chords and where, again
listen for how many hits there should be. this is pretty much correct, there are a
of wrong tabs out there for this song (no offence to anyone) so i decieded to tab it
myself, some parts are harder to ear as the guitar is mixed quite low in areas. J.

Nothing hard here, for ease for play and to avoid having to move the fretting hand
to keep constancy use the first finger to bar all the strings and your second and
third to fret the others, this makes the slide alot easier, however becareful of
hitting the wrong stings cus u are no longer able to mute them with the fretting hand.

this riff comes after the clean intro, then crops up throughout. its used for the verse
except its all palm muted, and farther into the song only some parts are muted. you'll have
listen for the variations in muting. its also used as a fill between sections.

while the "HEY, now its been so long.." one guitar plays it while the other backs wtih
the main riff. afterwards both guitars harmonise, i believe that it is a unison harmony
however if you feel differently feel free to transpose one up or down accourdingly.
the "frustration" bit after the first harmony
