Hey, this is my first posting, and i never liked the other versions of Prison
Bound on acoustic, so I thought I'd post my own.

"Prison Bound" by Social Distortion, on "Prison Bound" circa 1988

Well I'm Goin' to a place where the tough guys go, and come out even tougher.

A place where a man don't show his feelings, a place where a man don't cry.

          Am
Well they say I'm being punished and they say I can be reformed, but someday

F
I'll Return.
G
Did they really think that this time it'd work? You knew all along it

F
wouldn't!

Chorus:
F
Oh, I'm prison bound, I did a crime one too many times.

Am
It's on the outskirts of town, by the railroad tracks, where the country

F
moon shines.

Oh, I'm prison bound, tell my girl I'll be back one day.

Oh, I'm prison bound, I may never know any other, any other way.

Well they take away my freedom of expression and action, but Johnny says I

F
walk the line.

         F
With three hots and a cot, and allot of talk that locks up concrete and steel

         G
Well it's cold and it's clammy, and it's colder than a pimp's heart, but I've

F
gotta do my time.

         Am
There's a lesson to be learned here, but what a price to pay, you know, I may

F
never learn.

F
Oh, I'm prison bound, I did a crime one too many times

Am
It's on the outskirts of town, by the railroad tracks, where the country

F
moon shines.
