I am not the greatest TAB writer, so this is the best I have to
offer. It is very close, if not right on. It's a lot of fun and
it lends itself to some improvised Jimi/SRVisms.
Tune to E MajorE flat and play with a hard funky feel. Amp settings
should be hot but not fully disrorted. The sublties and
dynamics of intro riff are too hard for me to illustrate so just
imagine you ARE SRV, Jimi, or KWS and really put some emotion
into it and it will sound really cool.
(h/p = hammer-on/pull-off)
INTRO
(*slide from 5th to 7th fret)
E MajorE||---3-h/p-5----------------------------------------------------
BB||---3-h/p-5---3-3-3--------------------------------------------
G+G||---3---------3-4-3-h/p-4---------5---5--7--5------------------
D MajorD||----------5--------------5--3----5---5--7--5------------------
A augmentedA||------------------------------*7---7---------7--5-------------
E MajorE||-3------------------------------------------------7--6--5--3--
The chords are pretty straight forward after the riff
(C,C#,D,G-riff) the bridge is BB minor on the 7th fret the down
to the A augmentedA and back, and the lead is in BB minor pentatonic.
I ain't a word guy, so I will let someone else add the words and
chord changes.
Good Luck! -Tim [email protected]
