Thinking Out Loud tab
Released prior to his second album, simply called X, this song got a slow but huge success in 2014. It is the most streamed song on Spotify and is the only single which has been on the top 40 UK charts for over a year. With this in mind, chances are good that "Thinking Out Loud" will be a classic in the years to come.
The song is written by Ed Sheeran together with his friend Amy Wadge who played the chords in Eds house while he was upstairs. He soon came down when he heard the melody and they soon finished the song together. The writing-duo met each other at the age of seventeen and soon started to do music together. The guitarist Van Morrison has been an inspiration for them since the start, and this song, as you can see in the Thinking Out Loud guitar tabs below, are very much in his style. Chart positions include many top spots all over the world and it peaked at the second position in USA and Canada.
