Okay, i got enough feedback to make me believe there are a few sepultura fans
out there..
I seems to be getting some extra carriage returns when i do an ASCII upload..
if anybody knows how i could fix this, let me know.. well, i'll give it a
whirl... cross your fingers, everybody!..

Okay, here we go boys... for my first attempt at PC transcription, I have
selected REFUSE/RESIST, a boss tune by Sepultura.. Everything's in here,
including the solo... good luck with it! My suggestion is just to throw
on the wah (you -do- have a wah pedal, don't ya?) and just let 'er rip...
Get the basic feel and rhythm of the solo; people will notice that more
than they notice whether you hit individual notes correctly or not.. the
song's speed is about 120, or 'moderate rock'.. the whole mess is tuned
down a full step (6=D, 5=G, 4=C, 3=F, 2=A, 1=D)... you can probably get
away with playing it tuned up, but you won't quite get the low, moshy
sound that characterizes Sepultura...
Let's run through an explanation of the different parts real quick... in
the beginning, both guitars come in with riff 'A' four times and move into
riff 'B' four times... then, guitar one continues with riff 'B' four more
times while guitar two kicks on the wah and plays the higher, harmonized
riff 'B1'... then, we move into the first verse, which is all throughly
transcribed... afterwards, riff 'B' kicks back in.. we then move into the
second verse, and then into the chorus ("Refuse! Resist!")... watch the
tempo change here after the solo; it goes from fast back to moderate real
quickly, and ya gotta 'hit' the tempo change perfectly... finally, we go
into the third verse, and a final chorus... the song wraps up with riff
'B', then riff 'A' again...
Okay, if you don't understand tablature, I'm gonna append an explanation
at the end to help you out.. if you don't have a copy of Chaos A.D., pick
one up!.. Sepultura's a great band, and you won't be disappointed... if
