My Home Blue Eyes by Seasick Steve

Tabs

My Home[Blues Eyes] - Seasick Steve
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tabbed by: grantburgh
Email: [email protected]

Tuning: Open Chord diagramD MajorD - DADF#AD

He uses a normal acoustic with 6 strings, with a slide on his third finger for this song.

Don't use a plectrum, finger pick so you can damp the strings that you don't want to be
when your sliding up
and down.

Also I've not tabbed each and every strum of a chord because I can't be bothered working
strumming patterns, just play
what feels right.

   Rinse and repeat!

What's the use in saying that I love you,
What's the use in saying sky be blue,
Don't need to talk about how world be round,
I don't need a promise I'll be true,

The night never promised the day,
The rain never promised the sun,
It just seemed to work out that way,
And just like that I'll be back when the day is done,

Cos my home is where your blue eyes are,
And my town is where your brown hair falls,
And my country's when I'm in your arms,
And my world its going just to far,

hmmmmmm x 4

I could sing you a song tonight,
Or write you a letter in the sand,
But you know that you know I know,
I will always be a loving man,
So lets get down to plain speakin,
Your the reason that my heart keep on beatin,
And thats about as deep its gonna get,
Your the only thing I got thats left,

Cos my home is where your blue eyes are,
And my town is where your brown hair falls,
And my country's when I'm in your arms,
And my world its going just to far,

Cos my home is where your blue eyes are,
And my town is where your brown hair falls,
And my country's when I'm in your arms,
And my world its going just to far,

hey hey heeey!
