LIGHTS OFF - Jay Sean
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tabbed by: Wayne See
April 24th 2010
Tuning: Standard
Had to slow down the intro and replay it a couple of times but it sounds quite spot on
me. Took me a couple of hours to do the whole thing properly. Hope you guys enjoy this
please post any comments/ratings/corrections/suggestions.
Capo on 3rd fret - all numbers relative to capo (except for the small no capo part)
Chords:
Bm 224432 or xx0321 - 224432 definitely sounds better
G 320033 or 355433 - I feel 355433 may be easier to switch to after Bm
D x00323
A 002220

For no capo, just the chords:
Bm -> Dm - 557765 or 000231 - I prefer 557765--------------------------|
G -> A#/Bb - 688766 or 113331 - Easier to transition from Dm to 688766-|
D -> F - 133211
A -> C - 032010 or 335553 or 8-10-9-9-8-8
Haven't tabbed out the no capo bit
[1], [2], [3], [4] are cues for the vocals. They should line up with the string+fret to play.
For example, for [1], it lines up with "2", so for the first line of the first verse,
you play the A string (5th string) on 2nd fret, you sing "tired" at the same time.
You can play the verses by finger-picking too, but you wouldn't want to play the whole
like that, would you? Sounds too monotonous! So I made the verses/bridges chords, and
finger-picking (you can actually hear that in the song).
If you want to play the verses by picking, then
Bm -> [1]
G -> [2]
D -> [3]
A -> [4]
