Intro: not easy to transcribe the rythm so listen to the song, roughly, the pattern goes
like:

So for the D MajorD part of the intro you go like this. The G+G part is basically the same:
-DDU UDU UDU for the first D MajorD
-UDUD for D1
-UDUD for D2
-UD for D3 then back to the first D MajorD
