In the first three bars of the intro, hold the chord forms (Dm/Em) so that the bass notes ring and in bars 1 & 2 the D/E note an octave higher also rings. In the 3rd bar of the capo version there is a shift from the 3rd fret to 5th fret (instead of open e string) which you can hear on the original recording.
