Have you forgotten .....x6 ===================== This is played with a capo on the 3rd fret. The FF chord at all times is played with an open E MajorE string (the light E MajorE string, not the heavy one). In the chorus, he plays the barred C majorC and G+G shapes i.e. the C majorC is played at the 11th fret etc. In the verse, for the C majorC chord pull off the E MajorE note to a D, and for the first FF chord pull off the A augmentedA note to a G. The FF that ends each line has a little bit that goes E-F-D-E on the D MajorD string. It's easy. The one part I wasn't 100% sure about is the first FF in the 3rd and 4th lines of each verse. An FF seems to work fine, but on the record, you can hear a BB note from the bass. I guess it's just another of those brilliant Red House Painter things! Genius! I'm sticking to my FF though.
