Hola, and welcome to my tab for Nazi Girlfriend by Iggy Pop. If you're like me, you've
countless hours searching the web for help with playing Nazi Girlfriend and found
Luckily enough for me though, I one day stumbled across a statement somewhere saying the
was in Open G, and then I was well on my way.

I'd like to note a few things. First of all, while I labelled this as aa song in Open G,
tend to play it in D MajorD G+G D MajorD G+G Bb/A# D, rather than the standard Open G+G which is D MajorD G+G D MajorD G+G BB
It's a personal preference, and you are welcome to try any of the few variations of how
play Nazi Girlfriend in Open G+G rather than the D MajorD G+G D MajorD G+G Bb/A# D MajorD variant if you like the
better. Also, I find it highly unlikely that any of my interpretations of this song are
or one hundred percent correct; however, I find them more than satisfactory. After all,
wants to play everything the same as everybody else all the time?

Now then, I suppose we should get on with it. I'll start with the chords, which are as follows:

And here's where the picking pattern suddenly changes. Also, at the end, the finger on
D MajorD string is no longer in a higher fret than the finger on the G+G string; in fact, they
places.

strings are played and which aren't during the chords and a slightly different pattern
the picking section where all of the strings are open, but they're not major; rather,
subtle.

final section is once again played in the chord, but the high D MajorD is not.

Because this song seems to be a constatly shifting miasma of brilliant songwriting, I've
up with even more variations of the song since the creation of the first two I've
here. However, I think you're better off using what I've given you as a guide to coming
with your own interpretations of the song. I may yet update this tab with other versions
so check back every now and then.

I truely hope this tab has helped a few lost people out there who, like I once was, were
around blindly in search of a Nazi Girlfriend tab.
