Mr Men by Pollen Of The Industry

Chords with lyrics

artist: pollen of the industry
song: mr men
songwriter(s): philip dodds, tom redman
tabbed by: philip dodds, tom redman (all our own work)
album: puppet show

this band - pretty unheard of, only just released their first album - hac
this as the first song they wrote, and its my favourite. its quite easy to
play, though.

intro:

E-----5----0-0-0-----------------------------
B-3-3---3-2-2-2-2----------------------------
G--------------------------------------------
D--------------------------------------------
A--------------------------------------------
E--------------------------------------------

x8

after two of them, the bass joins in with

E--------------------------------------------
B--------------------------------------------
G--------------------------------------------
D--------------------------------------------
A-----5-----0--------------------------------
E--3-3-3-2-2---------------------------------

x2

then after 4 of the beginning solo, some chords come in:

Chord diagramG+G Chord diagramG+G Chord diagramD MajorD Chord diagramG+G Chord diagramF#F# Chord diagramB minorBm

and that all goes on for about eight bars, and the guitar bar chords carry
on through the verse, but the bass plays:

E---------------------------------------------
B---------------------------------------------
G---------------------------------------------
D------------7--------------------------------
A-----5-4-5-5-9--9-7--------------------------
E-3-3---------------9-7-----------------------

it goes through the bass line 4 times, and plays the chords 8 times, before
going into a chorus. the intro to the chorus has a chord riff
going on in the background, but the solo part on the guitar goes:

E-4-6-4-6-5-7-5-7-3-5-3-5-5-7-5-7-7-9-7-9-10-12-10-12-12-14-12-14-15-15-15-15-17
B----------------------------------------------------------------------
G----------------------------------------------------------------------
D----------------------------------------------------------------------
A----------------------------------------------------------------------
E----------------------------------------------------------------------
the underneath chords are;
E-----------------------------------------------------------------------
B-----------------------------------------------------------------------
G------------------------12-12-12-12-12-12-12-12------------------------
D11-11-11-11-11-11-11-11-12-12-12-12-12-12-12-12-12-12-12-12-12-12-12-12
A11-11-11-11-11-11-11-11-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-12-12-12-12-12-12-12-12
E9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--------------------------10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10
p.m.
x2

first time second time
------------------------ ---------------------
------------------------ ---------------------
------------------------ ---------------------
10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10- 10--10--10--10--9----
10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10- 10--10--10--10--9----
8--8--8--8--8--8--8--8-- 8---8---8---8---7----
p.m.

then, there are some simultaneous chords going on, and one player

  plays:

G-G F-F E-E G-G (the first G's and F's played in a stacatto
fashion)

meanwile, the other guitarist plays:

G-G D-D E-E (high) E-E (in the same fashion)

next, it goes onto the final part of the chorus, which is a few barchords:

Chord diagramC majorC Chord diagramFF Chord diagramE MajorE Chord diagramA augmentedA Chord diagramG+G Chord diagramC majorC E(high) c Chord diagramD MajorD

then it goes back to the verse. after the second verse and chorus, it goes
to a bridge part:

Chord diagramG+G Chord diagramC majorC Chord diagramE MajorE (E-1-3-1-3-1)
x4

this is played with a solo in the background
E------------------

B------------------
G9-9-9(12)-7h9-0-10
D--------------0-10
A----------------8-
E------------------

h=hammeron

Then its the chorus again, and then its the end. i hope this reading time
has been a pleasurable experience, and if you have any comments or
questions, then e-mail me at [email protected]. or, e-mail the co-writer
of this tab, tom redman at [email protected]
