About this song

"Where Is My Mind" by Pixies is the closing track on their 1988 album "Surfer Rosa." The song was written by the band's frontman Black Francis and is known for its distinctive guitar riff played by Joey Santiago. The lyrics were inspired by Francis' experience scuba diving in the Caribbean. Despite not being a commercial success upon its release, the song gained popularity after being featured in the film "Fight Club" in 1999. "Where Is My Mind" has since become one of Pixies' most iconic and recognizable songs.
