Note from author:
     A piece of music should, as close as possible, be read in a linear
fashion, much the same as you read a book. When transcribing a piece of
music this should always be followed, as it helps the reader when learning
the song.
     I don't mean to offend the previous author, or any other authors, it's
just that I'm tired of getting lost trying to follow TAB that I've received
from the net. So with this transcription I've tried to follow the way that
any other music book or magazine would publish a piece of music.
     This isn't the first transcription of 'Given to Fly' on the net, and
as I have already mentioned that I found it hard to follow, I decided to
send in my own transcription. It differs in that I feel the intro is more
accurate, and I've tried to write the chordal parts as close to the rhythm
on the CD as possible. Although I know it's not totally 100% right.
     I saw PEARL JAM play on their recent tour of Australia, and paid close
attention, through a pair of binoculars, to how Mike McMready played the
intro. From there I began transcribing. I know I'm not totally 100%
correct, and that the whole song is not here, so if you find any mistakes,
please let me know.
