I think this is pretty close to how the version on "South" goes.

Here's the chords I use for this:
G? = 320030    G6/A/? = x02030    C9 = x32030   D = x00232  A7 = 002020
G1 = 320003
G2 = 320033

I'm not sure of the proper name for the G6/A/? thing or the G?
thing.  I also can't decide which of the G's sound best with this,
so I play around between all three as little accents (using
hammer-ons etc.) while playing the G's.
