Nirvana tabs for Polly acoustic

About this song

Polly is one of the oldest songs to appear on the 1991 “Nevermind” album. Written in 1988 and meant for their debut it was hold back as Kurt Cobain thought it didn’t fit in with the heavy grunge sound. Please keep in mind when checking these “Polly” guitar tabs out that the song is entirely acoustic. At the time most Nirvana sounds had a mix of heavy distorted-guitar in contrast with clean quiet guitar tab playing, but “Polly” is different. The first version released on “Nevermind” is acoustic but the band has done several recordings both live and in studio with different instruments, lyrics and tempos. These “Polly” guitar tabs are based on the original album version. You can download the song if you play any of the video games “Rock Band”, “Rock Band 2”, or “Rock Band 3”.
