This song, and Nick Drake Have become real popular since that car commercial. This song is posted in the tuning of DADGDF#. I have sent this posting as an alternative to that version. It's a [D] pink Yeah it’s a pink moon * Play the D's with open high E- (D w/ down tuning)- hammer pinky on and off around from 5th 4th and 2nd frets.. for effect * Play the A's as regular A's and go from Asus and Asus4 for effect * Play G as 1st fret B string, 2nd fret G string, 3rd fret D... hammer on and off the G string for effect... *Play the Em w/ index finger barred on the 2nd fret and the 2nd fret on the B string down.... I hope this version might help. It is easier than retuning totally if you are in the middle of a gig.
