Stones From The Sky tab by Neurosis

Really fantastic song, one of Neurosis? best. The other tab online was in the wrong tuning, so I wrote
this onein the correct tunings. I use a bit of dirt with my amp, and roll the volume on my guitar down
for the clean intro. When that little pre-chorus comes up, just put your volume on
full to get a nice crunch. For the heavier parts use a good OD like the RAT or Boss HM-2. And, for the
part at the end I suggest a phaser or flanger, even a wah. That will give you the weird
noise effect. Scott?s parts should be 100% correct as they are relatively easy, but some of
Steve?s chords for the pre-chorus may be wrong. Feel free to post changes or suggestions in the
 comments if you find something better.

Guitar 1 is AADGBe (drop the E string down to A). Scott uses a .058 so it doesn?t get floppy
Guitar 2 is AADGAd (drop the E to A; B to A; and e to d). Steve uses an Ebow in the beginning
part of the song, then switches to a pick.

Guitar 2: To get the ambient sound, use an Ebow with heavy delay, and then slide from note to
note while doing volume swells. Steve lingers pretty long on each note but you can freestyle it.
