Travelin Man chords
Travelin Man is an American popular song, best known as a 1961 hit single sung by Ricky Nelson. Singer-songwriter Jerry Fuller wrote it with Sam Cooke in mind, but Cookes manager was unimpressed and did not keep the demo, which eventually wound up being passed along to Nelson. His version reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Its b-side, `Hello Mary Lou`, reached No. 9 on the same chart. Nelson is accompanied on the recording by the vocal quartet, The Jordanaires. It also appeared on Ricks 1961 album Rick is 21. His father made a video of the towns mentioned in the song and super-imposed Rick singing over the video for their TV show The Adventures of Ossie and Hariett. Many believe this is the very first music video ever shown on Television.
