' they say, C G E But to me It just proves the old saying is true, A D7 G D7 The saying that 'Crime does not pay.' Verse 11: G But when I look round at some people I know, D7 And the prices of things that we buy, C G E I think to myself, ' Well, perhaps after all, A D7 G Poor old Ned wasn't such a bad guy.
