According to the liner notes, this was Poindexter's only recording for Sun (Sun 202), recorded in May 1954. As I said, this song is both strange and a gem, so try to hear the original recording if you can. I have tried to place the downbeats properly with the words, and yes, there are six unbroken measures of C in the middle of the chorus.
