Released on The Godfather Part III OST in 1990 as track no. 5 `The Immigrant/Love Theme From The Godfather Part III`. The track opens with The Immigrant; the main theme to Part II and a Rota composition. It then drifts off into an original theme composed by Coppola, not to be mistaken with Rota`s Love Theme for the first movie. Coppola`s Love Theme is also sung by Harry Connick Jr. as Promise Me You`ll Remember for Part III, with lyrics by John Bettis. After bells introduce the piece, the strings kick in. Those are followed by an oboe and flute, which soon play within octaves of each other. In the background, we can also hear a harp. Transposal to the mandolin in GDae standard tuning.
