This is a great little instrumental rock riff with a little syncopation giving it a reggae-ish feel. I tabbed it from the Home Depot commercials "Let's Do This!" with the help of Amazing Slow Downer and Guitar Pro. I wish I knew the original composer so I could credit him/her, but Home Depot ain't tellin'. This song is in straight 4/4 using mostly 8th notes and the key of A minor. Play both parts on an overdriven guitar. Rhythm Guitar -- easy open strings. Play all parts with palm mute with accents on the fretted notes. Pick steadily with an up/down rhythm. Notice there are 1/8 note rests after most of the upstrokes on the open A string. Notice that it starts on an off-beat with the first accent on an on-beat, followed by an 8th note rest. The second accent is on an off-beat. I find it easiest to play by barring a Am chord at the 5th fret.
