Super Mario Brothers Overworld Theme by Misc Comp Games

Tabs

The Super Mario Bros. (Overworld) Theme song!

		Written by Luis A-Solis

		Tabbed by Chris Vandergaag

It sang to you incessantly for hours, every day. For roughly two thirds of
your adolescent life, it looped on and on, through meals, though afternoon
classes, and all through the night... it penetrated your psyche, physically
etching notes onto the surface of your brain. And now, it's back!! Hooray!

Transcribed below are the melody lines and some bass/harmony filler for the
Super Mario Bros. overworld theme song, arranged for 1 guitar. It's
identical (and slightly better) than the version you'll hear on the
Nintendo Entertainment System game pak, and it's in the right key, so play
along! Bip!

For best results have a second guitar back you; playing the chords in OPEN
position, using the funnest, corniest imaginable rhythms.

Chords used:

 Chord diagramG+G
(Dm, Ab, Bb... but only in a couple of spots; this is pretty much a Chord diagramC majorC tune.
Tip: barre two or three strings at the 5th fret whenever you go to play
your C... it'll make it easier to play in this voicing...

(Now return to Fig. 1.... but AS IF you didn't already know that... this
song is physically a part of you.)

...Second verse, same as the first!! there might be a change in the order
of the sections in the second loop-thru, I can't remember. But probably
not...

Please write me if you have any videogame music tabbed out, i get a kick
out of this stuff!

enjoy!
