Ice Cream As written and recorded by Sarah McLachlan >From the Album "Fumbling Towards Ecstacy" Transcribed by John Argentiero (jfafreak@wam.umd.edu) I tabbed this out about a month ago, but someone recommended to me trying it with the capo on the second fret, which makes the song a WHOLE lot easier, no barre chords, nice open ringing strings and all. So here it is again, played with a capo on the 2nd fret. Well, most of this song is played on piano (um, all of it I think) but live I believe she does it on guitar, or so I've been told/led to believe, so here's a good arrangement. Listen to the record for rhythms. These are just chord forms. Not actual chords sounds, see tab at bottom for more info.

To make life easier, here's TAB for all of the chords... The important thing here, zeros are in fact twos, since thats where you have the capo. e--3---0-----2---0----0------0-----------0-------| B--3---1-----3---1----3------0-----3-----0-------| G--0---0-----2---0----2------0-----0-----0-------| D--0---2-----0---2----0------0-----0-----2-------| A--2---0---------3-----------2-----2-----2-------| E--3-------------------------0-----------0-------| G Am7 D C Dsus2 Em7 G/B Em Hope this is through enough to allow you to happily play in any given acoustic coffee house or hang-out joint of your choice!
