John Mayer's cover of the Tom Petty classic, from his live album 'Where the Light Is - 
Mayer Live in Los Angeles'.

None of the other versions were how John (or Robbie McIntosh) play it.  They aren't 
- but are Tom Petty's way, not John's.

Although most of the song is fingerpicked, its fingerpicked through the 3 chords: D/F#, 
and A

I think it sound best to have the A string and the high E muted, but its up to you, and 
A can be varied with an Asus4 - its up to you what sound you like best.

Also, the first G of each line could be played as a G (3x0233), but again its up 
you...
