This is Husky's cover of the Leonard Cohen tune. Transcribed from the
Tram Sessions version, his guitar has the capo on 2 but he's tuned
down a half step, so in standard tuning put the capo on 1 to play
along.
For the hammer-ons to X you're slapping the strings with either your
ring finger (Em) or your pinky (Am). It took me a while to figure
out the strumming pattern so if it's not making sense just start off
slow and you'll get it.

[Verse Riff x2]
I asked my father,
I said, "Father change my name."
The one I'm using now it's covered up
with fear and filth and cowardice and shame.
[Chorus]
C/G G
Yes and lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover come back to me,
C/G G
yes and lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover come back to me.
[Verse Riff x2]
He said, "I locked you in this body,
I meant it as a kind of trial.
You can use it for a weapon,
or to make some woman smile."
[Chorus]
C/G G
Yes and lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover come back to me,
C/G G
yes and lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover come back to me.
[Verse Riff x2]
"Then let me start again," I cried,
"please let me start again,
I want a face that's fair this time,
I want a spirit that is calm."
[Chorus]
C/G G
Yes and lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover come back to me,
C/G G
yes and lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover come back to me.
[Verse Riff x2]
"I never never turned aside," he said,
"I never walked away.
It was you who built the temple,
it was you who covered up my face."
[Chorus]
C/G G
Yes and lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover come back to me,
C/G G
yes and lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover come back to me.
Am
And may the spirit of this song,
Em
may it rise up pure and free.
Am
May it be a shield for you,
(play second half of Em intro here)
a shield against the enemy.
[Chorus] x2
C/G G
Yes and lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover come back to me,
C/G G
yes and lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover come back to me.
