Think Twice by Groove Armada

Bass tabs

This is a really simple tab, the same chords throughout.
You can finger pick a bit while you strum to make it sound pretty,
whatever works for you! As always, comments and improvements welcome.
Remember it's meant to be easy to play, so nothing too complex (though any improvements are great!)

:) Happy tunes! kayleighscanvas

Standard Tuning

Capo 3

Basically Em G A Repeated A A7 A in the gaps between verses and choruses.

Time your chords using this pattern: Em for TWO beats, G for TWO beats then A for FOUR beats
(imagine a metronome in your head!) This pattern sticks throughout the song. A A7 A is meant to
be played quickly.
Intro Em G A x4

Em G A
Close your eyes and lose the feeling that's been sinking
Em G A A A7 A
Close your eyes and count to three
Em G A
Close your eyes rewind, I know just what you're thinking
Em G A
Close your eyes and think of me

A A7 A

Em G
Larger than life niceties
A
Bigger than you, more than me
Em G
I've got the Monday morning blues
A
And oh my god I've got the home for you
Em G A
And give the everyday morning you... Use
     Em G A
There's things right here I can't afford to choose

A A7 A

Em G A
Close your eyes and lose the feeling that's been sinking
Em G A A A7 A
Close your eyes and count to three
Em G A
Close your eyes rewind, I know just what you're thinking
Em G A
Close your eyes and think of me

A A7 A

  Em G A Em G A
Sincere, caramel, champagne, down drain, tell him, no gain
   Em G A A A7 A
It's so damn physical it will sustain
   Em G A A A7 A
And too damn technicolor to refrain
   Em G A
And much too taxing for my little brain

(Repeat Intro only x2)

(strum once only on each chord for first three lines then build up to chorus on last one in this bit)

  Em G A
Why do we never know enough of happy ends?
  Em G A
Why do they never show?
  Em G A
All the times that we have been so good and caring
  Em G A
How many times we'll never know

A A7 A

Em G A
Close your eyes and lose the feeling that's been sinking
Em G A A A7 A
Close your eyes and count to three
Em G A
Close your eyes rewind, I know just what you're thinking
Em G A
Close your eyes and think of me

Em G A
Close your eyes and lose the feeling that's been sinking
Em G A A A7 A
Close your eyes and count to three

Interlude Em G A A A7 A x3

Em G A
Close your eyes rewind, I know just what you're thinking
Em G A A A7 A
Close your eyes and think of me

Em G
Packed it like a punch out to lunch
  A
I got a little hunch that stood out from the bunch
    Em G A
As if that's not enough I need another reason why

(strum once only on each chord)

    Em G A
That god damn bitch of life she made me cry
    Em G A
So I'd like to poke her squarely in the eye
    Em G A
And it hurt so much I feel like I could die, Yeah Yeah

Fade gently with interlude: Em G A A A7 A
